| COUNTDOWN CHINESE WHISPERS: For a 50th or 60th birthday party for somebody with a good sense of humor (and friends with a similarly good sense of humor it can be fun to include games that play on the weaknesses that people suffer as they age. Chinese whispers is a perfect one to do just that. All guests sit in a long line and the person at one end should whisper a fairly long sentence in the ear of the next person who then repeats this with the person to him or her and so on. The person at the other end speaks the saying out loud. Use a quotation about old age, something like: ‘And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count.
